There’s painting to do, furniture to get, and someone please call the plumber. And oh, Granado Espada ramblings.
19th December 2008
*LOL* I’m not moving house.
My long absences are dominated by long days (and nights) of feverishly coming up with a new blog design. Yep folks, there’s going to be a brand spanking new design. However, I think it won’t be up ’til next year. Meanwhile, I’m seriously getting irked by GoDaddy’s slower and slower servers. Any slower, a snail can overtake those kilobytes. So as soon as my blog can go live with a new design, I’m switching host. (Incidentally, this is what I meant by calling the plumber on the title)
I forgot how exhausting this is. Because this is my own blog, I tend to be more fussy than an old lady picking out her china’s colors (they have to match the tablecloth, after all) and there’s even this one time I was considering renaming my blog. No more Just Ann’s. Let’s face it - it’s boring, right? But, the moment I change my blog name, my google rankings and geewhizwhatnots are going to down the drain. Swallowed by regret and pity, I reconsidered and grudgingly decide to keep Just Ann’s, no matter how much I gag to look at it now.
OK, change of topic. Anyone who wishes to play Granado Espada will have the perfect opportunity to do so on the 20th of December. A new PK server will be opened, called Giovanni. It’s a brand new server, so you’ll be starting out just like everybody else and don’t have to compete with “old players” who dominate the market, colonies and well… everything, really. So if you played GE and quit last time due to botters, hard life in-game (trust me, I understand), well, here’s your chance!
I have been playing GE for over a year… and it’s still fun to me. The grinding’s painful, but it’s less painful than other games. Take Perfect World for example. You play one character, the health pots are expensive, the monsters are scarce, and when injured, you sit down and do “OMMmmm…”
*snort*
Compare with GE. You play 3 characters simultaneously, there are so many monsters (and they look for you), pots are cheap, a scout can heal, you can warp anywhere (via portals) and the drop rate is quite good. If your character dies (other than your scout) you can resurrect them. You can cast buffs, can have as many characters as you want in your barrack and come out in any combination. You can recruit NPCs.
And you can reach Level 100 (Veteran) in about a month or two.
Goodness, there are many more points I wanna make…
It’s a really fun game. :) Granado Espada SEA Official Site
