*blows cobweb off blog*
I know, I know. The last post was on 17th July 2009. 2009!! Yikes. So much has changed since then and although I know most people prefer facebooking to reading blogs now, from now until February next year I’ll be updating.
Initially I planned for this blog to die when domain renewal was coming up by just deleting it… but before I had a chance to do that the charge came through and the domain was once again renewed for another year. My hosting expires on February 2011 so that’s when this blog will truly die.
Why do I decide to blog now, after being absent for more than half a year? I don’t know… facebook is great and all, but you can’t share a lot at one go like a blog can. I have so many big things happening and sometimes, I want a place to share… and this is where I can do so freely without worrying about spamming people’s facebook page. :) Plus, facebook is friends only… and some of my friends don’t understand my love for fountain pens, for example. I would post something enthusiastic and get no response. It can get pretty disheartening. Isn’t it better to just post here and let like-minded people find and enjoy it?
So yeah… from now on, I expect a lot of updates just to get the build-up out of the way. I don’t care if no one reads it, it’ll be for my own cathartic purposes. If you’re reading this and want to see what I have been up to, then please stick around. :)

REVIVED???? Yeah, I might actually cancel the facebook. So many questionable security holes…I just don’t know. I read some of this stuff http://gizmodo.com/5534736/more-reasons-why-you-should-still-quit-facebook and just placed doubts in my mind. eeks. Maybe you shouldn’t read that.
Will be sad to see this site come and go…there’s so much “legacy” here. So many sides, faces, and changes recorded in your life. Some may consider blogging as a thing of the past…but at least you get to control content, privacy settings, amount of exposure, etc etc.
Still, keep this site archived…I remember the days of intenserage, penhouse9, etc….and now twoflavours. If you compiled all those sites into a library of anne…can you imagine? XD

I’m truly bad at updating, aren’t I? I said I would, but then…. look at the date! Or maybe not. Don’t look at the date. Ugh.
Carl, I’m amazed you even remembered my former blog names. Don’t cancel your facebook just yet - I still use it as a vehicle to keep in touch with my friends and update nuggets of stuff. SO much easier than blogging.

How does one clear Facebook out? :P Ha… you must be freaked by what they say about FB. Your employers (or potential employers) can see what you’ve been up to during the weekend, right?
